END of VTX

Most who follow Honda know that the VTX line disappeared as of 2010 however there are some mixed signals. While it’s true that most of us only believe what we see and leave the rest of the crap for politicians, I think it is safe (in my opinion) to say that the VTX line is not dead.

Honda shut down the plant here in the States, they also had a glut of VTX‘s and Goldwing’s. The reason they stated was that they were moving the line back to Japan. This has been done and if you consider all things including the U.S. economy with the glut of already made VTX’s, it makes good sense to hold off a year or two before restarting production. I have looked at the new VT line from Honda and I must say that it doesn’t impress me. Yes they have new styles but they don’t seem to capture that something American. Now before anyone says a thing about American and Honda and … “should have bought a Harley”, I have a few things to say. 1st: My VTX was assembled by Americans in Ohio with parts manufactured by the same company HD buys from (Check out your shocks). 2nd: I love the rock solid dependability that is Honda and no matter what anyone may try to say… they all compare themselves to Honda. 3rd: Radiator, it’s that new fangled thing that holds coolant and helps the engine, yeah I know the V rod but how many really consider that a HD? Truth be told, I think the V rod is gorgeous and would love to have one but momma wants a spyder and I ain’t partin with my VTX.

Purchasing a Corner Makeup Vanity

I love to go shopping!  Grocery shopping, clothing shopping, even shopping for birdseed makes me happy!  When we decided to add a Corner Makeup Vanity to the guest bedroom, I of course offered to go to the store and pick one out.  There were two vanities that I really liked, but since one was 30% off, I decided to go with that one.  It’s a pretty cream color so it goes great in the guest bedroom.  It’s also made out of wood and not some fake material.  My husband was rather shocked that I didn’t buy anything else while shopping for the vanity.
